Fifth Graders Join Exciting PERJUSA Camp at Forest Camp Inagro

Bogor, May 10, 2025 — SDS Harapan Prestasi successfully held its annual PERJUSA (Perkemahan Jumat-Sabtu or Friday-Saturday Camp) on May 9–10, 2025, at Forest Camp Inagro, Ciseeng, Bogor. The two-day camping event brought together all fifth-grade students, guided by teachers and scout leaders, for an unforgettable outdoor learning experience.

Under the theme “SEHAT Scout Cadets” — standing for Sportive, Educative, Excellent, Active, and Agile — the camp aimed to strengthen students’ leadership skills, discipline, cooperation, and character through a variety of structured scout-based activities.

Throughout the program, students participated in:

  • Flag-raising and semaphore signaling exercises,
  • Team-building games such as Scent Guessing, Dragon War, and Water Relay,
  • Religious reflection sessions,
  • Campfire night celebrations, and
  • Hands-on scouting workshops like first aid and hasta karya (creative crafts).

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students tackled each challenge with enthusiasm. Team spirit and active participation were evident in every zone and activity. Notably, parents played a significant role in supporting the preparation and success of the event, which ensured a smooth and safe experience for the students.

The camp concluded with a special scout inauguration ceremony, where all participants were officially recognized as Penggalang Rakit Scouts, marking their readiness to take on greater responsibilities as young leaders.

“We are incredibly proud of our students. Their energy, teamwork, and willingness to grow through this experience were truly inspiring,” said Mr. Gunawan, M.Pd., Head of SDS Harapan Prestasi.

The school extends its heartfelt thanks to all teachers, staff, scout mentors, parents, and everyone who contributed to making this event a success. PERJUSA 2025 has left a meaningful impression on both students and educators, reinforcing the school’s mission to build responsible, confident, and caring future leaders.
