Heroes Day (Hari Pahlawan) in Indonesia is a national observance celebrated annually on November 10th to honor and commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of those who fought for Indonesia’s independence during the struggle against colonial rule, particularly during the Battle of Surabaya in 1945.
Both SD and SMP students opened the celebration with a Flag Ceremony. A series of class presentations followed as a tribute to the unsung heroes of Indonesia. Each grade level showcased their talents in dancing, singing, playing the pianica, and reading poems. These activities give students an opportunity to pay special attention to the event.
