Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur: 9–10 September 2025 – SDS Harapan Prestasi successfully held its annual Sport Day 2025 with the theme “Spirit of Togetherness, Health, and Achievement Through Sports.” The two-day event took place on the school basketball court and ceremony field, involving 347 students from Phase A (Grade 1–2), Phase B (Grade 3–4), and Phase C (Grade 5–6).
The program aimed to promote students’ physical fitness while also building character through teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Sport Day is one of the school’s efforts to develop not only academic excellence but also healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes among students.
The event began with a joyful opening ceremony led by the Sport Day committee, followed by a series of exciting sports competitions.
For Phase A (Grade 1–2), students participated in fun games such as V-shaped Ball Relay, Mini Basketball, Zigzag Run, and Obstacle Run, which helped improve their motor skills and coordination.
In Phase B (Grade 3–4), students competed in Hula Hoop Relay, Stick Ball, Futsal, and In-Out Cups, developing their teamwork and agility.
Meanwhile, Phase C (Grade 5–6) took on more advanced sports challenges such as Futsal, Basketball, Volleyball, and Obstacle Run, showing strong team strategy and competitive energy.
“Sport Day is not just about winning or losing. It is about learning to try your best, respect others, and grow stronger together,” said Cris Bintang Juliana, the Sport Day PIC.
Students showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. Many of them shared that Sport Day helped them become more confident and active. One Grade 5 student said, “I really enjoyed playing futsal with my team. We supported each other, and it made the game more fun.”
Principal Gunawan, M.Pd. appreciated the positive spirit of the students and teachers during the event. He said, “Through Sport Day, we teach students about health, teamwork, and character. These are important life values that go beyond the classroom.”
The Sport Day 2025 program was supported by all homeroom teachers and subject teachers as event committees under the coordination of Ms. Juli, Ms. Elshinta, Ms. Cutri, Mr. Riga, and Mr. Surya as person-in-charge. With strong teamwork and positive energy, the event ran smoothly and successfully.
SDS Harapan Prestasi hopes that Sport Day will continue to inspire students to stay active, healthy, and disciplined while building a strong sense of togetherness. The school remains committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that develop students’ physical and emotional well-being.
