On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Harapan Prestasi School proudly held its annual Extracurricular Exhibition 2025. This special event was designed to provide a platform for students to showcase the results of their hard work and dedication in extracurricular activities throughout the school year. It also served as a meaningful opportunity for parents to witness their children’s development and engage directly with the teachers who guide them in these programs.
This year’s event carried the inspiring theme “Shine On: Where Every Talent Counts.” The theme reflects the school’s belief that every child has unique abilities and that all talents—whether in academics, arts, sports, or life skills—deserve to be appreciated, nurtured, and celebrated. The exhibition aimed to encourage students to be confident, express themselves, and take pride in their growth beyond the classroom.
A total of 277 students participated, presenting a wide variety of skills across multiple disciplines. These included sports (basketball, futsal, taekwondo, karate), the arts (piano, violin, traditional dance, hip hop, choir), academic clubs (math and English enrichment, coding), language development (Mandarin for grades P1 to P5 and SMP), as well as practical skills like robotics, Kido STEM, calistung, iqro, and manga drawing.
The performances were held in three main areas: the school field, the gym room, and the SMP hall. Each student waited in assigned classrooms before their turn to perform, assisted by teacher coordinators to ensure smooth transitions and a well-organized flow of events.
An additional highlight of the event was the Product Exhibition and P5 Showcase held in the Mess Hall. This exhibition displayed creative projects and collaborative work completed by students as part of their extracurricular and project-based learning experiences.
All teachers and staff arrived by 07.00 AM wearing the official SHP polo shirt, black trousers, and sports shoes. They took on roles as ushers, stage coordinators, room supervisors, and documentation crew. Thanks to their teamwork and dedication, the event ran smoothly and joyfully from start to finish.
