On Saturday, February 1, 2025, SDS Harapan Prestasi held a Parenting Seminar for parents of Grades P1–P3 with the theme “The Balance of Love and Limits”. The seminar took place at the SMP Hall from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. and was led by the insightful speaker, Ibu Charlotte Priatna, M.Pd., M.Min.
The event aimed to equip parents with practical strategies to support their children’s emotional, social, and academic growth. The seminar explored different parenting styles and emphasized the importance of building strong, positive parent-child relationships.
A total of 54 parents attended the seminar, out of 62 who registered. The session opened with prayers and the national anthem, followed by welcoming remarks from Mr. Gunawan, M.Pd., the school principal. Ibu Charlotte then delivered a meaningful and engaging presentation, followed by a brief Q&A session moderated by Ms. Juli.
Though time constraints limited interaction, the parents showed great enthusiasm and interest in the topic. Feedback indicated a desire for a longer session and better scheduling to avoid conflicts with holidays, such as Chinese New Year.
