In connection with the implementation of the SPAB (Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana) socialization and assistance program (disaster safe education unit) in the Kramat Jati sub-district area) by BPBD DKI Jakarta Province with the support of USAID/BHA KUAT together with the Forum Pengurangan Risiko Bencana (F-PRB) as technical implementation partners of the program, SMP Harapan Prestasi has had the opportunity to implement This activity held on Wednesday-Thursday, September 25-26 2024.
The aim of this socialization and mentoring activity is so that schools can follow up on the SPAB implementation process independently and sustainably as an effort to support the realization of Disaster Awareness Culture in the school environment in DKI Jakarta and especially in the Sekolah Harapan Prestasi environment.
This activity was carried out for 2 days, the first day of the activity was focused on seminar activities. All students and teachers were exposed to material regarding disasters by the F-PRB team. Meanwhile, on the second day, activities focused on direct simulation activities from the classroom to the assembly point.
All students have participated in this activity enthusiastically and hope that similar activities can be carried out regularly so that children have good skills in dealing with disasters that can come at any time.
